On Christmas day, we went over to Will's parent's house in the afternoon to open more presents. Jimmy, Sarah and the girls were there too and this year Kordon and Morgan were up from Utah. It was a full house with chaos and paper everywhere. It was wonderful!

A few years ago I started a tradition of taking a picture of the family with their favorite present. Kyla chose the cash register that she got from Jamie and Olivia, although it was a toss up between that and the CD player she got from Will and I. Moira chose her Barbie alarm clock and her pink camera. Will picked his boxed set of Futurama DVD's. As for me, my favorite was the gift certificate from Victoria's Secret. Their semi-annual sale starts in a couple of weeks. I can hardly wait!

Kyla's cash register is amazing! I can only imagine the look on her face when she opened it - it's almost bigger than her! Hooray for 6 year olds with cameras, I look forward to seeing what Moira takes pictures of. Max goes for the comedy with his - he has taken many funny shots of Lane. Oliver got this comic book creator computer program where you can upload your own pics, so he and Max do a whole strip of Lane doing funny things or making faces then they type things into the bubbles above his head. I'll put some on facebook...
Your Christmas looked lovely Robyn, I liked how you opened your presents to each other the night before - that makes alot of sense. And was that a My Little Pony that Kyla got?
Yes, Will did get me the gift certificate. I had told him that's what I wanted and when we took the kids to see Santa, who happened to be sitting right in front of the store, Will went and got it while the kids and I stayed in line. So it wasn't a complete surprise, but I don't care.
Moira has taken some great photos with her camera. She has such a great eye. She also got a scrapbook for Christmas so she has been working on putting her own photos in it. I'm in awe of the way she just lets her creativity flow without putting too much effort into it.
Kyla did get a My Little Pony. It smells like strawberries. Moira got one too, but hers was a pink unicorn. They also both got a Littlest Pet Shop animal and a Polly Pocket. What is it with really small toys with even smaller excessories?
