Summer Happenings

Summer has finally arrived. I was beginning to think that it would go from spring right to fall. But the heat is here and the kids swim almost every day. We continue to plug along, keeping busy with general randomness. Here is a snippet of what we've been up to lately:

I took the kids to the MK Nature Centre last week. Not only is it beautiful and educational there, but it's totally free. Can't get much better than that!

This picture is small so it's hard to see, but in the middle is a deer. Apparently there were five does wandering around, but we just saw this one. I had never seen deer there before so it was very exciting.

Will bought me some Sweet William and planted them in the garden outside the window by my sewing machine so when I looked up I would see the flowers and think of him. Isn't that sweet?

Last night Will took the girls for a scooter ride around the block. They had lots of fun.

Last Saturday I set up my booth at the Flying M Coffee Garage in Nampa for their Supa Summa Craft Fair. It was hot, but one lady bought three of my skirts so I was happy.

Was that the nature centre that we went too when we visited? If it is it looks much nicer now!! Your garden is looking great! Way to go on your sales - that must make you very happy!!

Yes, that is the same nature centre. They have fixed it up a bit, but it's basically the same. I love it there.

I was so happy when that lady bought all those skirts. It finally made me feel that what I do is worthwhile.
