It has been a busy week again this week. There is always something going on. Between Will and I taking classes this summer to working in the yard, and, of course, the kids are always on the go, there is rarely a dull moment. Here are a few things that happened this week.

These are the pillows I've been working on to sell at the Highland Games. The covers are made out of upcycled materials that I've found at the thrift store. The thistle and Rampant Lion are cut out of new felt, but it's made out of recycled products. The Salt Lake City games are this weekend. Kyla and Will are going down with Pam and Jim. Moira, Liam and I will stay home.
The weather has been really crummy this year. It's hard to believe that it's already June. We've had so much rain and the temperature hasn't gotten above the mid 70's F/low 20's C. That hasn't stopped the kids from getting into the pool.

Yes, Liam is wearing a Wonder Woman bathing suit. I love that he doesn't understand "girl stuff" and "boy stuff". Will thinks I'm mean for not pointing out the difference to him. I think it's great that he doesn't make that distinction. Besides, he'll have the rest of his life to worry about that kind of stuff.

Moira has been growing out her hair for quite a while now. She wanted to be able to donate it to Locks of Love. Finally, after much agony (her hair is so thick that it's hard to brush and it never stays tidy), it was long enough to cut.
That's what's been happening in our corner of the world this week and it's only Thursday. I can't wait to see what happens next week.

I LOVE the Wonder Woman bathing suit - that's awesome!! Connor was the same way - he finally grew out of that and only wanted "boy" things when he turned five. I am VERY proud of Moira for growing her hair out to donate it - what a sweet girl - and her hair looks adorable!!
I want to point out that I didn't intentionally pick out that bathing suit to put on Liam. He wanted to put one on like his sisters. Just like he likes to have his nails painted just like Moira and Kyla do. He's merely imitating their behavior. I'm sure that once he starts playing with other boys, he won't want to be so much like his sisters.
